Responding to a community need for drug and alcohol prevention services, Recovery Resource Council introduced school-based programs in 1986. Today, this organization provides services to approximately 170 schools in 18 different school districts reaching over 60,000 children ages 5-18 annually. Recovery Resource Council employs Certified Prevention Specialists to work within schools, recreation centers, shelters, juvenile detention centers, and other youth serving organizations. Staff is dedicated to making a positive difference and a lasting impact on the lives of youth by delivering education, inspiring hope, and creating safe, enriching environments for youth to thrive.
